Precious moments in the life of Urs…

Come on Get Happy!

Well, I have shared a sad song playlist and a “Help Me, Jesus” playlist, now it’s time to get positive. I don’t want people to think I am all Debbie Downer, so it’s time to get happy. I have been trying to proactively be more positive. One way to help this is to fill my life with positive culture, be it books, music, activities, or people. So, this post is about the positive music that I let fill my ears.

I have always had a “Happy” playlist and a “Pick Me Up” playlist, and even a “Pick Me Up (rap)” playlist, but I have refined each list some with the changes in my life and the changes in meaning of music to me in my life. So, here is the current “Pick Me Up” playlist:

Now some of these songs, while generally positive, are too slow and and sad feeling for me to listen to. For instance, “Hero,” “Everything Must Change,” and Blackberry Molasses.” So, I have an even more updated (safe)  version of this list, just for this time period of my life that removes such songs. Then on the other hand, there are songs that are just so uplifting I could listen to them over and over again. My favorites are:UnwrittenPure GoldHappy Days (Featuring Chaka Demus & Pliers)Can’t Bring Me Down, and Hold Your Head Up High (Featuring Lil’ Mo) just to name a few. Know any good, positive music?…leave a comment.
