So, in an effort to get going on the goal of  learning to drive, I finally bought the online preparation class for the written driving test. I tried really hard to just read through the book “What Every Driver Must Know,” but I kept falling asleep, getting disinterested, and feeling like I was not retaining too much of the information.

The course was a great way to learn the basic rules of the road visually and auditorily. 

The course had six main topics that really do cover everything that you need to know for the test. The section on signs was excellent. I can tell you anything about street and traffic signs.

There were also practice tests and a certificate issued at the end of the course. Supposedly, the certificate may be used with insurance agencies to get a discount on automobile insurance.

I truly felt well prepared after taking this course, and I highly recommend it for anyone, at any age, wanting to prepare for the written driving test.

I guess I will see tomorrow how well this course prepared me for the test!
