I am always looking for music that is free and legal, but it is all the better when downloading such music helps to support a good cause.

That being said, please download Ne-Yo‘s song “Hero.” Ne-Yo performed the song last night on David Letterman, and it is available as a FREE download at http://www.macys.com/ne-yo.

According to Ne-Yo‘s web site:

For every (free) download from February 1st – March 31st, Alfani will make a $1 donation to the campaign to end relationship violence.

The song is reminiscent in theme of Beyoncé‘s “Save the Hero.” You can see Ne-Yo‘s Letterman performance below:
