So, shortly after I started writing the last post, which was shortly after I finished writing the first fish post, I found my nameless red betta dead at the back, bottom of the tank. It probably suffocated.

I think that writing the first post actually helped me prepare mentally for the loss, so I am okay. Sad, but okay. I have seen many fish go over the years, and that probably softened the pain, too.

I hate to sound insensitive, but I am leaving the filter/bubbles going on the biUbe. I figure I will get another fish soon enough, and at least the tank will be ready for it. Sigh.
