Old Year’s Resolutions
As we near the end of the holiday season and the turn of the year, I cannot help but comment on New Year’s resolutions.
I have never really been one to make New Year’s resolutions. If there is something I want to do, then I do not need to wait on the turn of the year to commit to it. I guess it is a novelty that helps some people focus, though, and make a commitment.
I could not help but think, though, of all of the little things during the year that we say we will get around to and never do. So, I propose that instead of figuring out what you want to do for the new year, try to knock out some of the things you never got around to doing or finishing this year before the year runs out.
For me, one thing is to finish the devotional I started. LOL. I have taken way more than the sixty days that it was supposed to take, but I should still be able to finish it this year because I only have a few days of it left. I will have to think about what other things I may be able to finish in the little time left. How about you?
